Full capacity is restricted to 75 attendants. Different lodging options are offered but they are subject to availability. Conference Secretary will contact each one of the participants to arrange best’s options.
Travel
The nearest airport to El Chaltén is located at El Calafate.
There is one daily flight from Buenos Aires international airport (EZE) to El Calafate (FTE), its departure time of 10:00 AM is convenient to complete a connection from most international flights.
More options are available from Buenos Aires national airport (AEP). Travel time from (to) EZE to (from) AEP may vary between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours depending on traffic conditions.
If you plan to stay (at least) one night in Buenos Aires, and fly to El Calafate from Buenos Aires national aiport (AEP), we recommend to fly in one of the following flights (subject to be changed by the airline):

In this case, the flight to the international airport (EZE) is convenient for several international flights like e.g. American Airlines to Miami and NYC departing at 23:50, Aerolineas Argentinas to NYZ departing 23:00, Iberia to Madrid and european connections departing at 22:35.
Transportation from and to El Calafate airport will be organized for the above mentioned recommended flights and included in the registration fee. Travel time is about 2.5 hours.
